1/1 Summary “Processes for Improving Heavy Oil or Bitumen and for Converting Heavy Oil or Bitumen into Synthetic Crude Oil, and,“ Synthetic Crude Oil ”A Process and System of heavy oil and bitumen breeding is disclosed for hydrocarbon synthesis, an example of which is synthetic crude oil (sco). The process advantageously avoids the waste attributed to the formation of oil residue and / or coke which has a dramatic effect on the yield of the generated hydrocarbon material. The process integrates fischer-tropsch technology with gasification and hydrogen-rich gas stream generation. hydrogen-rich gas generation is conveniently carried out using alone or in combination a hydrogen source, a hydrogen-rich steam from hydroprocessing and the fischer-tropsch process, a reformer steam methane (smr) and autothermal reformer (atr) or a smr / atr combination. the raw material for breeding is distilled and the bottom fraction gasified and converted into a fischer-tropsch reactor. a resulting lean hydrogen synthesis gas is then exposed to the hydrogen-rich gas stream to optimize the formation of, for example, synthetic crude oil. lean hydrogen gas flow may also be carried out by a water gas displacement reaction, either alone or in combination, or in addition to the generation of the hydrogen-rich gas stream. Partial improvement and the proportional benefits are detailed as well. A system for performing the processes is also characterized in the description.
