Method for defence against an attack by a missile

The method involves deciding whether missiles (14, 16) are to be combated. Combating of the missiles is performed by a defense system (10) on a defense vehicle (4) i.e. armored personnel carrier, and another defense vehicle (8) i.e. main battle tank, during positive decision. A determination of whether the missiles represent a risk for an object (2) i.e. passenger car, and another object (6) i.e. lorry, moving along with the vehicles is included as a decision criterion in the decision. Protective regions (28, 30) around the objects are considered in evaluation of the risk. An independent claim is also included for a defense device.
