A pharmaceutical combination or composition, comprising a selective estrogen receptor modulator and a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor. Together, the combination of the two drugs unexpectedly and synergistically prevents and/or treats and/or manages; seizures and/or convulsions and/or epilepsies and/or neurodegeneration and/or associated neurological and endocrine disorders, more preferably generalized seizures and/or generalized seizures with associated neurological disorders. Preferred formulations include tablets, capsules, suspensions, emulsions, injectables, ointments, creams and other suitable formulations as may be deemed necessary.
