摘要

There is disclosed a multi-branched carbon consisting of carbon networked structure of carbon nanotube, carbon nanofiber and a mixture thereof. The said multi-branched carbon may be used as a Pt-free electrocatalyst for cathode catalyst layer of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel.cell; wherein the said electrocatalyst comprises of three-dimensional structure of multibranched carbon doped with sulphur. The said electrocatalyst is obtained by chemical vapor deposition process using a mixture of precursors for carbon , and sulphur.
