INTER-CONNECTED CARBON NANO-SHEETS (ICNS) BASED COUNTER ELECTRODE CATALYST PASTE FORMULATION FOR DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR CELL (DSSC) AND METHOD OF DEPOSITION OF THE SAME
The present invention relates to the field of dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC), more particularly relates to a counter-electrode(CE) catalyst paste formulation, comprising of hemp-derived inter-connected carbon nano-sheets (ICNS), binder free TiO2 solution and non-ionic surfactant; and a method of deposition of the said formulation onto a conducting glass substrate. The said CE paste formulation providesa reasonable photo-electric conversion efficiency for a DSSC thus assembled, hence is a cheaper alternative to expensive platinum as counter electrode.
