A biometric technology based mobile payment method device and apparatus. The mobile payment device comprises a biometric information identification application and a universal payment trusted application (TA) operating in a trusted execution environment (TEE). The universal payment TA (24) is configured to receive an invocation request from a third party payment application determine a target content requiring encryption and an encryption parameter required for encryption according to the invocation request acquire a result of biometric information identification from the biometric information identification application encrypt the target content according to the encryption parameter and the result of biometric information identification and return the encryption result to the third party payment application such that the third party payment application executes payment related operations according to the encryption result. The present solution enables multiple third party payment applications to share one universal payment TA (24) which is advantageous in reducing the cost of signature and prevents a malicious third party payment application from being installed on a mobile terminal to reduce security risk in a TEE.
