摘要

A technology (process) for identifying attainable, measurable and verifiable goals and objectives from vision and mission of an enterprise to enable measurement of attainment of Mission & Vision. Vision of any enterprise plays a vital role in defining the future shape an organization wishes to take, that is what an enterprise aspires to achieve. Mission statement defines specific special purpose functionalities aimed at achieving part of vision. For effective assessment of attainment of vision, it is critical that goals and objectives derived from mission statement must be attainable, measureabie and verifiable (AMV). This leap from Vision and Mission to goals and objectives is a complex cognitive process. The invention outlined above adopts a linguistic analytic approach that presents a methodology to identify potential verbs and their association with other verbs, nouns, adjectives and adverbs and provide selection criteria for selection of most apt verbs or combination of verbs called candidate verbs in this work. The goals and objectives that are attainable and measurable are then drawn by using candidate verbs and their associations.
