Waste foundry sand (WFS) is used in the foundries for metal casting. In order to reduce the amount of river sand, the WFS is incorporated as a partial replacement material. Many researchers are working on this area to increase the volume of sand by using the waste product. In this paper, the experimental investigation is carried out by replacing the WFS of 20%, 25% and 30% with the river sand. The specimens were cast and tested to. evaluate the compressive strength of concrete at the age of 1, 7, 28, 56 and 90 days. Test results were validated with the conventional concrete. From the results, it was observed that by using 25% of WFS there is a marginal variation in the results of about 8% to 10% when compared with control concrete, which can be used as the construction material for the production of concrete.
