ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION The solar energy collection device named as ˜Vertical semi-circular box shaped™ solar energy absorber ˜rotatable around concave spherical sunlight reflector™s vertical axis™ relates to Physical sciences. It is useful for collection of energy from sunlight incident on concave spherical sunlight reflector. The device comprises of following. ˜A pedestal having circular platform at its top end™ erected such that its vertical axis coincides with vertical axis of said reflector. ˜A rotatable platform™ mounted on suitable bearings over said circular platform and anchored to an anchoring rod along its vertical axis. A ˜semi- circular container outlined solar energy absorber™ connected through suitable vertical supports to said rotatable platform such that its ˜centre point of curvature™ coincides with ˜centre point of curvature™ of said reflector. ˜Means for turning of said absorber on said rotatable platform™ around vertical axis of said reflector, for its orientation along plane of incident sunlight passing through its vertical axis to enable it to intercept most of sunlight reflected by said reflector.
