The invention relates to essential details of the design and to the functional working principles of a non-deformable containment system for the storage of liquids with more than one deformable liquid holder or holder(s) with more than one compartment of a variable volume which are positioned and integrated in this containment system, like a storage tank or cavern, which are or can be part of a larger installation, like a tank terminal or cavern system also including pipes, instrumentation and safety devices. Such containment system for the storage of liquids provided as per this invention with more than one internal liquid holders or compartments thereof can repeatedly hold variable volumes of liquids, varying in composition as well as in volume from one holder or compartment to another, for a longer period, without any liquid coming into contact with the containment system. The invention assures maintaining both the composition, quantity and quality of any and all liquids stored.
