The invention relates to a fodder recipe for egg-laying hens. According to the invention, the recipe comprises a conventional combined fodder for feeding laying hens, with admixture of 4% fodder additive rich in carotenoids, consisting of 35% red maize grains, 25% marigold flowers, 15% spirulina as powder, 15% sea-buckthorn fruit as cake and 10% pumpkin flesh, the product containing 16.97% raw protein, 4.87% raw fat, 6.15% raw cellulose, 35.406 mg/kg lutein and zeaxanthin.
