The invention relates to an analytic method for determining aroma compounds in aromatic plant samples. According to the invention, the method comprises the ultrasound extraction from aromatic plant samples with a solvent mixture methanol:dichloromethane:n-hexane in a volume ratio of 3:2:1, at a temperature of 30...60°C for 15...30 min, followed by the evaporation of the extract and the simultaneous determination of 22 analytes by gas chromatographic analysis coupled with mass spectrometry.
