The present invention relates to preparations, devices, methods for implementing preparations and methods for the treatment of biological tissues and cancers by means of thermal ablation (TA) induced by electromagnetic energy, for example in radio frequencies (RF), in microwaves (MW) or in the laser light. In particular it relates to a preparation allowing to keep constant the hydration conditions of tissues and/or to keep a low coupling impedance between the active portion of the electrode and the surrounding tissues even at high temperatures, in order to obtain thermal lesions with big volume and controlled shape.
