A chamber (4) which is pressed over a bleeding wound (9) and completely encloses, this in turn surrounded by a vacuum chamber (3) which can be withdrawn via a valve (6) by means of a vacuum pump air. The vacuum in vacuum chamber (3) sucks the device to the skin (8) and does not allow blood leakage from the chamber (4). The valve (12) on chamber (4) can be opened to treat a tension pneumothorax, also on valve (12), a vacuum pump, for sucking air or blood, are connected. Sealing lips (10) and (5) improve the sealing. At vacuum chamber (3), a vacuum gauge (7) may be attached.
