摘要
System for damping first oscillations of a first frequency and second oscillations of a second frequency in the electrical power in an electrical network, said system being configured to counteract and damp the first oscillation and the second oscillation at different low frequencies, said first frequency and said second frequency, the system comprising: a wind farm including a first wind turbine and a second wind turbine, each of the first and second wind turbines including a rotor, a generator operatively coupled with the rotor to generate electrical power, and an inverter that it couples the generator with the electrical network to emit the electrical power to the electrical network; a controller configured to generate a first control signal to operate the inverter of the first wind turbine to modulate the electrical power emitted by the first wind turbine to damp the first oscillations and to generate a second control signal to operate the inverter the second wind turbine to modulate the electrical power emitted by the second wind turbine to damp the second oscillations; and, in which the first and second control signals are generated based on a small signal stability control algorithm that can solve a first frequency component of the electrical power in the electrical network that is used to generate the first signal of control and a second frequency component of the electrical power in the electrical network that is used to generate the second control signal; the first and second control signals are selected to cause the inverters to emit electrical power in a manner that overlaps with the first oscillation and the second oscillation of the electrical power in the electrical grid, thereby canceling low-frequency oscillations, using a feedback loop based on the low frequency oscillations of the electrical network.
