A system for monitoring, storing and marketing agricultural product quality, the system including a sensing device having a sensing unit including a radiation source configured to emit radiation into a sensing region and a sensor that senses radiation emitted from the sensing region and a processing unit including that receives the indication of the sensor data from the sensing unit output, processes the sensed radiation data and generates quality data at least partially indicative of agricultural product quality using the sensed radiation data.
