An electric vehicle, and a high voltage system, a detection method, and a pre-charging circuit thereof. The high voltage system of the electric vehicle comprises: a power battery circuit (10), comprising a power battery and a negative relay (K2), a first end of the negative relay (K2) being connected to a negative electrode of the power battery; a pre-charging circuit (12) connected in series to the power battery circuit, the pre-charging circuit comprising a pre-charging relay (K3) and a pre-charging resistor matrix that are connected in parallel to a positive relay (K4), the pre-charging relay (K3) being connected in series to the pre-charging resistor matrix, and the pre-charging resistor matrix comprising multiple pre-charging resistors; and a controller (14), separately connected to the positive relay, the negative relay, and the pre-charging relay, and used for controlling, by using the pre-charging resistor matrix after performing control to sequentially connect the negative relay, the pre-charging relay, and the positive relay, the high voltage system to securely supply power. The technical problem of an impulse current generated at the moment when a pre-charging relay is closed if a single pre-charging resistor is short-circuited is resolved.
