An information acquisition method of a gesture-based seat adjustment technology, and a gesture system. The method comprises: recording one or more gestures, and information of a seat position, a rear-view mirror position, and an in-vehicle rear-view mirror position corresponding to each gesture (S100); detecting gesture information input by a user (S101); determining whether the gesture information input by the user exists (S102); if not, maintaining the original status (S103); and if yes, adjusting the seat position, the rear-view mirror position, and the in-vehicle rear-view mirror position according to the gesture, and sending technology usage data to a data acquisition end preset by the manufacturer (S104). By presetting a corresponding relationship between a gesture and information of a seat position, a rear-view mirror position, and an in-vehicle rear-view mirror position, the seat, the rear-view mirror, and the in-vehicle rear-view mirror are adjusted automatically when a user inputs the gesture, and the ride comfort is improved. Meanwhile, by means of timely feedback after technology usage, the manufacturer can collect usage information of related technology conveniently and effectively in time.
