Disclosed is a figure recognition method for a network video conference. The method comprises the following steps: configuring head portrait information of an attendee; when receiving voice information, obtaining an image of the position corresponding to the voice information, and recognizing the image to determine whether the speaker is the attendee; and if yes, playing the voice information. The invention improves conference security.
