The present invention relates to the field of computer security, and provides a method for acquiring fingerprint-based file access technology use data and a fingerprint system. The method comprises: recording one or more fingerprints, file operation permission corresponding to the fingerprints, and matching relationships between the fingerprints and the file operation permission, and recording a communication mode of a computer owner; sending file verification information to the computer owner when a user needs to access a file; detecting fingerprint information inputted by the user; determining whether the fingerprint information inputted by the user exists; and if yes, granting permission to access the file according to the file access permission corresponding to the fingerprint, and sending technology use data to a data collection end preset by a manufacturer; or if not, maintaining the original status. The present invention facilitates managing computer files by a user while enhancing the security of the computer files. In addition, a manufacturer can effectively acquire use information of the related technology in time by means of timely feedback after the use of the technology.
