摘要

A search algorithm-based optimization method for a sand mold of near net shape forming employing digital flexible compression. The method comprises: dividing a 3D CAD sand mold model into near net shape forming regions; acquiring a function of a curved cavity surface of the 3D CAD near net shape forming sand mold model; constructing an objective function for optimizing a flexible compression array envelope volume; determining a valid optimization interval R; shifting the position of the cavity of the 3D CAD sand mold model to an initial search position; determining a search direction; determining search steps in the x and y directions respectively; performing a global search in the valid optimization interval R, comparing values of the flexible compression array envelope volume, and saving the larger value as V(x,y)max and the corresponding position as (x,y)max; and completing the search, shifting the position of the cavity of the 3D CAD sand mold model to (x,y)max, and entering a process for adjusting the shape of the flexible compression array. Employing the present method enables, within an error margin, maximally close approximation of a near net shape forming sand mold cavity to a sand mold cavity.
