A system for extracting and classifying graphs and pictures by using a text pattern around the graphs and the pictures in an electronic document according to the present invention generates a meta code for classifying the graphs and the pictures by recognizing values around the graphs and the pictures if the graphs and the pictures are recognized in the electronic document (MS-word, power point, excel, PDF, Hangul, etc.) and stores the meta code with the graphs and the pictures, thereby suggesting the graphs and the pictures through the meta code in a searching process.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
