The present invention relates to a smart healthcare system and a method for providing a social network service for sustainable healthcare. The smart healthcare system for providing a social network service for sustainable healthcare comprises: a social network server for healthcare to provide an individual user terminal with an individual storage space for storing integrated health management information, provide the individual user terminal with an individual virtual space for social networking in a cyber space, and provide a user interface to display the integrated health management information in the individual virtual space and allow a plurality of user terminals to perform social networking based on the integrated health management information in the individual virtual space; and a plurality of user terminals to connect to the social network server for healthcare via wireless communication to store integrated health management information in the individual storage space. The user terminals use an exercise performance information input template to update exercise performance information of the individual storage space when an exercise event is generated. The social network server for healthcare comprises an exercise history updating unit to update an exercise history database which classifies the exercise performance information according to a time order or an exercise type to store the exercise performance information when the exercise performance information is updated.
