The present invention relates to a method for controlling trace elements in a low melting metal. The method for controlling trace elements in a low melting metal comprises the steps of: a) loading a boat, containing a target metal to be refined, into a tube; b) locating a heating means, provided on an outer surface of the tube, at one side end of the target metal; c) locally heating a portion of the target metal, where the heating means is located, so that a molten zone in a liquid state is formed; d) cooling the target metal so that an area of the target metal exclusive of the molten zone forms a crystal zone in a solid state; and e) moving the molten zone by moving the heating means to the other side end of the target metal at a predetermined speed along a longitudinal direction of the tube, and concentrating impurity elements by moving the impurity elements to the other side end of the target metal by using a characteristic in which the impurity elements included in the target metal are concentrated in the molten zone.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
