The present invention provides a reliability analysis method by using a peak response factor (PRF) which is a new random variable from a dynamic response and a static response in order to perform a reliability analysis considering dynamic effects. A reliability analysis method by using a peak response factor according to the present invention includes the following steps: using a peak response factor (Rn) by utilizing a ratio of a dynamic peak response (Rp) to a static response (Rst); considering the peak response factor as a random variable; defining a limit state function from the random variable; approximating the limit state function to an explicit function by using a response surface method; and obtaining a reliability index (β) from a joint probability density function of the random variable, the peak response factor, and the limit state function.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
