The present invention relates to a core structure for a mid-to-high-rise modular building and a construction method thereof, capable of rapidly performing stacking and construction while minimizing displacement due to a side force generated in a core structure in the mid-to-high-rise modular building. The core structure for the mid-to-high-rise modular building is formed in a hollow square box shape by connecting PC panels on an upper part, a lower part, a left side, and a right side with each other. The PC panel comprises: a concrete panel part where a protruding connection part is formed on a center of an upper plane and a lower plane of a vertical plate type body part, and a rebar assembly including a buried vertical rebar; and a connection shape steel including an one-side flange connected by a vertical rebar penetrating an upper plane and a lower plane of the concrete panel part on both sides of the protruding connection part.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
