A pet sitter matching apparatus and a pet sitter matching method are disclosed. The pet sitter matching method includes the steps of: displaying pet sitter search result information based on a position of a demander terminal; registering a companion animal to be cared and protected by a pet sitter selected based on the search result information; and executing payment about a care and protection contract for the companion animal contracted between the demander and the pet sitter. Therefore, according to the present invention, accurate information about the breed of an animal can be supplied to the pet sitter.
