According to embodiments of the present invention, provided is a convection heater using a plane heating element, comprising: a case unit (10) having a predetermined space therein and appearance, and having an air circulation unit (100) formed on one side thereof, through which heated internal air and external air are circulated; a heater unit (20) formed in the case unit (10) to be spaced apart from the air circulation unit (100) at a predetermined distance, heating by being provided with a power source from an external power supply, and consisting of a self regulation (SR) heating element (200) that performs a self temperature control function; a temperature adjustment unit (30) formed on one side of the case unit (10), and adjusting the temperature of the heater unit (20) depending on a temperature selected by a user; and a power supply switch unit (40) performing a function of selectively shielding power supply to the heater unit (20).
