The present invention relates to a tempered glass cutting apparatus and a tempered glass cutting method using tornado laser cutting. The apparatus includes: a cutting groove laser unit forming cutting grooves on upper and lower surfaces of tempered glass along a cutting-scheduled line by irradiating the upper surface and the lower surface of the tempered glass with a pulse laser beam; a tornado laser cutting unit cutting an internal region of the tempered glass by irradiating the cutting groove-formed tempered glass with a laser beam such that the it rotates while being incident at an angle; a stage unit supporting the tempered glass and disposed to be capable of being transported in two axial directions; and a control unit controlling the operations of the cutting groove laser unit, the tornado laser cutting unit, and the stage unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
