The present invention relates to a horizontal hairline forming apparatus for a stainless steel coil which is able to form a horizontal hairline on the stainless steel coil. The horizontal hairline forming apparatus for the stainless steel coil comprises: a coil support unit on which the stainless steel coil is rotatably mounted; a coil winding unit installed and separated from the coil support unit, holding one end of the stainless steel coil to wind the stainless steel coil; and at least one pair of surface treatment units installed between the coil support unit and the coil winding unit, forming a horizontal hairline on a surface of the stainless steel coil in a direction perpendicular to a winding direction of the stainless steel coil. The pair of the surface treatment units forms the horizontal hairline on the surface of the stainless steel coil while the stainless steel coil passes below the pair of the surface treatment units while the stainless steel coil is unwound from the coil support unit to be wound on the coil winding unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
