The present invention relates to a smart jump rope having a multi-layered skipping rope for protecting an LED, which includes: a skipping rope into which a plurality of LEDs are inserted; and handles arranged at both ends of the skipping rope to control flickering of the plurality of LEDs in the skipping rope, wherein the skipping rope includes: an output wire located at the center of the skipping rope and having a flexible printed circuit board embedded therein on which the plurality of LEDs are installed; a connection wire connecting both ends of the output wire and the handles to each other and connecting an electric signal between the connected handles and the flexible printed circuit board embedded in the output wire; and a protection tube surrounding the output wire and a portion of an end of the connection wire connected to both ends of the output wire. To achieve this, the present invention may minimize damage to a representation function of the number of times of jumping through an LED afterimage effect of the smart jump rope through a multi-layered jump rope to prevent damage of the circuit board having an LED flickering circuit provided therein, even when various external impacts occur due to repeated performance of the skipping rope.
