The present invention relates to a black ginseng extract-containing composition ensuring excellent cognitive function enhancement effects, which can be used as health food compositions having cognitive function enhancement effects or pharmaceutical compositions for preventing and treating dementia owing to excellent cognitive function enhancement effects.
