APPARATUS AND METHOD TO TRACK DYNAMIC LICENSE IN OPEN DIGITAL RIGHT LANGUAGE-BASED WRITINGS DISTRIBUTION PLATFORM

The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method to track a dynamic license in an open digital right language (ODRL)-based writings distribution platform. According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: a license manager to generate a license to support expression and transaction of digital writings; a constraint manager to manage constraints of the license for the digital writings; a semantic map manager to process the constraints assigned by the constraint manager with respect to the license generated by the license manager and to store the license of the digital writings in a semantic map repository; and a log manager to receive a license change log including change history information of the license from the semantic map manager when the license is changed and to store the received license change log in a log repository; and a history tracker analyzing the license change log received by requesting the same to the log manager to track history of the license. According to the present invention, since the history of various dynamic licenses is tracked by using log data recording a change of an owner and a consumption type of content in accordance with content transaction between individuals in a dynamic license model, a distribution status is analyzed, billing and expenses are able to be correctly calculated therefrom; thereby being able to promote an ODRL-based writings distribution service.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
