RELAY-BASED DISTRIBUTED TIME SYNCHRONIZATION METHOD AND SYSTEM

Provided are a relay-based distributed time synchronization method using a frequency mirroring and a system thereof. The disclosed synchronization system transmits information about a reference time, which a base station generates, using a frequency mirroring method. In addition, the method measures time delay between the base station and a relay, and between the relay and a terminal, and performs synchronization by using time delay and information about the reference time. The disclosed synchronization method and the system do not directly receive information about the reference time from the base station, or can obtain time synchronization when a time slot is not allocated to the terminal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
