PURPOSE: An electronic book searching apparatus of a portable terminal and method thereof are provided to enable a user to conveniently search and manage plural electronic books by searching and displaying the electronic books according to the movement of the portable terminal.;CONSTITUTION: A display unit(160) displays electronic books allocated by a category. A control unit(110) displays the electronic book allocated by the category. The control unit displays and searched the electronic books according to the movement of a portable terminal.
