The present invention relates to an atmospheric monitoring system and method using a sensor and gas chromatography comprising: a first suction portion for sucking air through a sample line by means of a first vacuum pump; a sensor room disposed on the sample line and having a plurality of sensors arranged to measure each of a plurality of substances contained in the air sucked through the sample line; a branch line branched from a front end of the sensor room on the sample line and provided with an opening and closing valve; and a GC analysis unit for performing a gas chromatography (GC) analysis on the air supplied through the branch line due to the opening of the opening and closing valve. According to the present invention, it is possible to increase accuracy by analyzing a substance measured above the reference value concentration among odor substances monitored in real time by GC, and thus, increase the accuracy and reliability of odor monitoring by preventing interference of different compounds in an odor monitoring process for measuring mixed gas.
