The present invention relates to a composition for preventing and treating autophagy mediated diseases comprising conessine as an active ingredient and, more specifically, to a composition for preventing and treating autophagy mediated diseases comprising conessine represented by chemical formula 1 or salts thereof as an active ingredient. A method of the present invention can be used for preventing or treating autophagy mediated diseases by administering the composition comprising conessine as an active ingredient.
