The present invention relates to a ceramic filter for a high temperature and high pressure gases refining machine, and a manufacturing method thereof. More specifically, the ceramic filter comprises: a support body which is made by a silicon carbide mixture and inorganic materials, and is a cylindrical shape having protrusions for widening a surface area in an outer surface; and a membrane coating layer which is formed on a surface of the support body. The method comprises: a raw material mixing step which mixes a silicon carbide mixture, inorganic materials, an organic binder and water; a molding step which stacks and molds the mixture mixed in the raw material mixing step into a cylindrical shape having protrusions for widening a surface area in the outer surface; a drying step which dries the mold molded in the molding step; a first firing step which calcinates the mold dried in the drying step; a processing step which processes the mold calcinated in the first firing step; a membrane coating layer forming step which coats a membrane coating solution on a surface of the mold processed in the processing step; and a second firing step which calcinates the mold having the membrane coating layer through the membrane coating layer. The ceramic filter for a high temperature and high pressure gases refining machine manufactured by such steps is excellent in terms of durability, chemical-resistance, and refining performances.
