The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting whitening, anti-inflammation and skin aging comprising water-soluble pearl powder as an active ingredient. The water-soluble pearl powder or an aqueous solution thereof of the present invention was ionized, and loss of organic matter was minimized. Therefore, it can be effectively used for functional cosmetics for inhibiting whitening, anti-inflammation and skin aging, by inhibiting melanin synthesis, suppressing inflammatory reaction, and promoting collagen synthesis.
