The present invention relates to a performance test apparatus for a vertical long shaft pump, which comprises: a vertical long shaft pump (100) having a pump introduction part (110) introducing a fluid into a lower end thereof as well as a pump discharge part (120) discharging a fluid to an upper end thereof; a main tank (200) allowing the pump introduction part (110) and the pump discharge part (120) to be arranged on a lower part of an interior and an upper part of an exterior thereof respectively; a measurement pipe (300) having one end connected to the pump discharge part (120); a drain tank (400) storing a fluid discharged by the vertical long shaft pump (100); at least one fluid level control pipe (500) introducing the fluid of the drain tank (400) into the main tank (200); a cooling device (600) uniformly maintaining a temperature of the fluid inside the main tank (200); and a level gauge (710) measuring a level of an inner fluid. The fluid level control pipe (500) has a flow rate control valve (510) and controls the flow adjustment valve (150) in accordance with a level signal of the level gauge (710) to uniformly maintain the level of the fluid inside the main tank (200).
