The present invention relates to an image sensor. The image sensor includes a comparator for comparing a pixel voltage of an image with a reference voltage, an SRAM unit which is composed of a plurality of SRAMs for storing an output of the comparator as data, wherein two SRAMs make one pair, and an exclusive logical OR unit which is composed of a plurality of exclusive logical gates, wherein the data value of the SRAMs making one pair is supplied to one exclusive logical gate. The data stored in each SRAM is supplied to the exclusive logical gate through the control of each SRAM word line. The boundary information of a single bit is derived using the output value of the exclusive logical OR unit. Accordingly, low power and small iris recognition are possible through single bit data processing.
