FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: solution of gold nanorods coated with polyethylene glycol is injected intravenously to animals with tumours. 24 hours after administration, diagnostic laser irradiation is performed by an infrared laser with wavelength in the range of 700-900 nm with power density in the range of 1-2 W/cm2 for 2 minutes. Tumour heating temperature is measured using the thermograph. At tumour heating less than 45°C, nanoparticles are intravenously injected once again, and 24 hours after nanoparticle administration diagnostic laser irradiation is performed. Local tumour heating temperature is measured. Upon reaching a temperature of 45°C and higher within 2 minutes, therapeutic infrared laser irradiation with wavelength in the range of 700-900 nm with power density of 4-5 W/cm2 is performed for 20 minutes.;EFFECT: increased efficiency of tumour laser hyperthermia due to intertwined tumour regression, manifested in necrobiotic changes in tumour cells and inhibition of its growth.;2 ex, 1 tbl, 4 dwg
