The invention relates to a canopy comprising a cassette consisting of a frame on which is reported an outer covering and a cover at the top. The chassis comprises housing extending in thickness and opening outward of the awning at the rear side. The canopy further comprises a support intended to be fixed to the wall of a building using a plate, the support is provided with two tie rods extending perpendicularly to the plane formed by said plate and slidably inserting at inside the dwellings. In this way, the awning is delivered in at least two elements, the support is lightweight and easily installable by the installer. Then the cassette is installed by simple sliding, in this way the assembly is fast and avoids the installer to support the full weight of the marquee. According to an improvement, the canopy can be equipped with a lighting means for illuminating the area below.
