A fan casing comprises a variable-orientation stator vane 1 of a turbine engine 100, comprising a wall 2 that extends between a leading edge 5 and a trailing edge 6 forming a chord line C, where the chord line increases from a root end 3 towards a tip end 4 of the vane 1, and where the profile of the vane is incurved along its direction of extension. The vane may pivot between positions where it straightens the air flow or diverts the air flow towards the exterior of the fan casing. The crown of camber may be between 50 and 300mm, and the ratio between tip chord and root chord may be in the range of 1.1 to 5. The casing may comprise a thrust reverser with at least one occludable opening 56, and the occlusion of the vane may be synchronised with the pivoting of the vane. Also claimed is a thrust reverser system of a turbine engine equipped with such a vane, and a turbine engine equipped with said casing or said thrust reverser.
