The object of the invention is a mechanism for intermediate closure of the linear stapler for a load with a knife for fixing tissue fragments, located in the central part of the anvil characterized in that it consists of the ratchet bed system, which includes the ratchet seat, the ratchet bed and the ratchet recess and the pressing cover which comprises a ratchet spring with a ratchet; wherein when pressing the pressing cover towards the anvil, the ratchet slides over the outer surface of the ratchet seat, until it enters the bed of the ratchet and, when the pressing cover is fully pressed against the anvil, the ratchet is located under the seat of the ratchet in the area between the ratchet seat and the ratchet recess.
