PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve quality by reducing defective flatness in a different thickness plate material.;SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a different thickness plate material for manufacturing the different thickness plate material having the plate thickness distribution in the plate width direction by executing caliber rolling using a caliber work roll having a diametrical difference in the body length direction to a plate material composed of a metallic material, wherein, assuming a thickness of a thin part of the different thickness plate material as t1, and a width in the plate width direction of the thin part of the different thickness plate material as W1, the thickness t1 of the thin part and the width W1 in the plate width direction of the thin part satisfy W1/t1≥15, and a bending part formed by bending the thin part in the plate thickness direction is provided in a partial area of at least the thin part.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
