PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the ligneous slurry for combustion that has reduced manufacturing cost, reduced burden of transport management, and enhanced combustion efficiency.SOLUTION: A ligneous slurry 36 for combustion is used together with powdered coal 84 obtained by pulverizing coal 81 in a combustion furnace 91. The ligneous slurry 36 for combustion is manufactured through a manufacturing step 1 consisting of a ligneous material 12 having a water content of 40% or more, a freezing step 2 consisting of cooling the ligneous material 12 for 10 minutes or longer until setting a core temperature up to -5°C and freezing the ligneous material, and a pulverizing step 3 consisting of pulverizing the frozen ligneous material 12 in a state where a core temperature of the ligneous material is -5°C or less to -15°C or more to form the ligneous slurry 36 for combustion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
