PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively evaluate tactile sense with high accuracy experienced when touching an object.SOLUTION: A tactile sense evaluation method comprises: a step (S1) of pressing a pseudo finger made of an elastic material against an analyte with constant force; a step (S2) of moving the pseudo finger or the analyte with the pseudo finger pressing against the analyte; a step (S3) of obtaining change in a contact surface of the pseudo finger with the analyte when the pseudo finger or the analyte is moved; a step (S4) of parameterizing a relationship between movement of the pseudo finger or the analyte and change in the contact surface thereby obtaining a parameter; and a step (S5) of quantitatively evaluating tactile sense experienced when touching the analyte based on the obtained parameter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
