PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that can control a color temperature of a video shooting illumination on the basis of color temperature information from a video camera, and controls to turn OFF the video shooting illumination only in a period of time when the video camera sets a white balance, and to provide a technique that allows the set white balance in the video illumination to control the color temperature of the video camera on the basis of the color temperature setting of the video illumination, and monitors and corrects the color temperature by having a sensor provided in a light emitting part of the illumination.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, in either instrument of a video shooting illumination and a video camera, communication means for conducting control between either instrument is provided. By use of communication, based on color temperature information from the video camera, reproduction of a color temperature sensed by the camera in an LED light emitting unit for video shooting illumination is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
