PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyvinyl alcohol resin aqueous solution that makes it possible to produce an optical polyvinyl alcohol film that excels in transparency, thickness accuracy and the uniformity of phase difference and also excels in dyeability.;SOLUTION: This invention relates to a polyvinyl alcohol resin aqueous solution for producing an optical polyvinyl alcohol film.
